DocsDomains
Point a domain at your site
Your site already has an address. This replaces it with one you own. Two steps: tell ChimeLab the domain, then create one DNS record at your registrar.
Where this lives: Dashboard → Project → Domains
You need a domain you have already bought — from Niagahoster, Domainesia, Cloudflare, Namecheap, or anywhere else. ChimeLab does not sell domains, and you do not need to move yours to us.
Add the domain in ChimeLab first
- 01
Open Domains on the project page
Type the domain exactly as you want people to type it — tokobunga.id, or www.tokobunga.id.
- 02
Read the record it shows you
ChimeLab responds with the exact DNS record to create: its type, its name, and its value. Keep that screen open.
Create the record at your registrar
Sign in wherever you bought the domain and find its DNS settings — usually DNS management, or Nameservers and DNS. Add one record with the values ChimeLab showed you:
| Column | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Type | The type shown on the domain panel. |
| Name or host | www for a subdomain. For the bare domain, most registrars want @ here. |
| Value or target | Copy it from the domain panel exactly, including the trailing dot if there is one. |
| TTL | Leave the default. It only affects how quickly a later change is noticed. |
Then wait
DNS changes spread across the internet on their own schedule — often minutes, sometimes a few hours. The domain panel keeps checking and updates itself when it sees the record. There is nothing to press.
